These Manifest Destiny text investigation history warm-ups or bell-ringers are skill-based content rich mini-lessons! They were created to enforce skills that my colleagues and I felt students were just not getting. First, students review skills such as finding strong evidence to support claims, writing good commentary, citing evidence in various ways and paraphrasing.
